Frequently Asked Questions

Why is Mixed Dash harder than the single-operation games?
You have to mentally switch strategy every question — addition, then division, then subtraction. That context-switching is its own cognitive challenge and better mirrors real-world arithmetic.
Can I disable division to warm up?
Yes. Open Settings and uncheck the ÷ toggle. You can mix any combination of the four operations. The "No Division" preset does this for you.
Are division answers always whole numbers?
Yes. Division problems are generated as quotient × divisor = dividend, so the answer is always an integer and you never need to deal with remainders.
What number ranges does each operation use?
Addition and subtraction use 1–20. Multiplication uses factors 1–12. Division uses divisors 2–12 with dividends up to 144. These match standard school ranges and can be adjusted in Settings.
How is the high score stored?
Scores are saved in your browser's localStorage and persist between visits on the same device and browser profile.
