Frequently Asked Questions
Will my data be saved if I close the browser?
Yes — all absent markings and housekeeper names are stored in your browser's localStorage, keyed by month. They persist across refreshes and restarts.
What does the "Abs." column show?
The total number of absent days for that person in the current month. It shows green "–" when there are zero absences.
Can I track more than 4 housekeepers?
Yes — press + to add a row, up to 8. Press - to remove the last row. Names and data for removed rows are preserved in localStorage.
What does "Clear month" do?
It removes all absent markings for the currently displayed month only. Other months and housekeeper names are unaffected. A confirmation prompt appears first.
Are weekends highlighted?
Yes — Saturday and Sunday columns have a slightly grayed header so you can spot the work week at a glance. Today's column is highlighted in orange.
